I am an avid naturalist. I try to spend as much time outside exploring new places as I can. I started a wildlife education business a number of years ago called Wild Times Education Programs where I bring wildlife and ecosystem talks to local schools in the New Orleans area. I utilize borrowed bio facts from the Audubon Zoo's education department to show children the size and incredible strength of a polar bear or the beauty and fragility of a butterfly's wings. I collect bio facts myself and love putting together talks and hands on activities to engage children in thinking about how we can all protect our environment and to appreciate the natural wonders all around us.
