Invasive species (plant) ecologist studying the American Chestnut, Castanea dentata, the spotted lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula and other organisms. My MS thesis was on finding native (and indigenous) answers to Ailanthus altissima.
This year I am focusing on identifying as many species, mostly plants, as possible along Blue Mountain near home to give a baseline for other scientists studying the ecology along the Kittatinny Ridge in Pennsylvania.
I walk, observe and think, the best way of doing ecology. We live near the Appalachian Trail in northern Berks County, PA.
