I post here to document observed species, striving to take photos which allow morphological ID without collection or harm. Additionally, I post to document behavioral observations and species interactions (incl. host associations). Though my interests extend to all taxa, my expertise does not. Officially, I study ants and their interactions with other organisms such as ant-plants (myrmecophytes) and hemipterans (trophobionts), though I publish natural history notes on a variety of taxa. I have particular experience in the Vachellia (Acacia) drepanolobium system of East Africa, and Puerto Rican ant communities.
