I earned a BS in Fisheries Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and I worked in the field for a time. Life events change paths, and I went back to school and became a nurse presently working surgical recovery after a few years in the ED. However, my interests continued to lead me outside to explore the natural world to find a little peace and harmony. I particularly love plants and fungi. And butterflies. And birds….well you get the picture! Photography and travel have also become my passions over time. I now live in the beautiful Eastern Cascade region of Washington.
