Father and daughter who like to walk the dog in the nearby provincial park. It all started with a single Morel about 15 years ago. After the Morel came honey mushrooms then learning other mushrooms. Then Chaga became the ultimate fungal find. I make dual extract Chaga tinctures which I am certain help my asthma and psoriasis. Things get worse when I take a break and get better when I resume Chaga. As a man of science, this needs more study.

Now my daughter and I have been taking pictures of interesting things for a few years and came across iNaturalist and decided this would be a fun thing to add to our walks and expand our knowledge of all of the different species around us. A few years ago we came across bittersweet and marveled at it's beautiful orange and red berries. We've added a lot of our old photos and are now on a quest to find new and interesting things to put a name to.
