Grown-up lady... BS in Biology from Purdue U. many many years ago, nursing school later on, now a pediatric ER nurse by night (I am batnurse)... - enjoys long walks in the woods, or on the beach, or in the city, or along the river, or up a mountain ... I try to travel someplace newish every couple months and look up and down and all around for birds and critters and big bugs and nifty flowers. I tend to annoy the people I may be travelling with with sudden outbursts of STOP STOP! in the middle of the road so I can jump out and take a picture of something. I just upgraded my Nikon p510 to a Nikon p900 for the embarrassing zoom lens on it (gave the 510 to my daughter) so I can get better close ups of birds and gargoyles (one of my other passions).
