I'm mainly interested in birds and plants, but lots of other things catch my attention. I am a retired teacher who loved teaching my kids to love nature too. I tend to do most of my observations while out birding or hiking. I'm hoping for a more "normal" winter (we had a big blizzard last year, then hardly any good snow) so I can Nordic ski and snowshoe and enjoy nature in winter too.
