I am a sea kayak guide in the Discovery Island Archipelago and a business student when I am not guiding. In my free time, I enjoy kayak touring and freediving with my camera at hand. I enjoy identifying marine invertebrates and learning about the ecosystems they exist in. I participate in inaturalist to share my photos with the scientific community, as well as learn more about the marine ecosystems I explore. I consider all of this to be professional development. As learning more about the marine ecosystem and its inhabitants makes me a more informative guide. Along the way, I conveniently build a personal photography portfolio.
