Connecting to my Native American/Polynesian roots and the "citizen science" aficionado in me.

Hiking all year. Snow (my favorite), rain, and heat. Hiking and exploring in Ashland, Medina, Wayne, Ottawa, Erie, Huron, Lorain, Holmes, and Knox County, Ohio. Exploring many areas of the United States while deployed. Hiking has been difficult with an injury this year, but I there is to much to discover :)

Being deployed in several areas of the United States gives me an opportunity to experience the diversity of different animal and plant species. This also allows me to give important observations after weather/environmental disasters.

Substitute science jr. high and high school teacher (between deployments) . Excited to share the to introduce observation learning/INAT to school students.
Sharing and helping others learn to document observations on INaturalist while hiking, deployed, and exploring. Especially older adults, access and functional needs/disabled adults, and children. INat is to share. Please consider donating to INaturalist.

INaturalist community members are the most interesting people in the world. Thank you to the experts here. It is a pleasure to learn with the best. Glad to be a part of this family.
