Hello, in spring of 2020, I planted seeds for about 30 milkweed plants in my yard at Cabana Dr, San Jose. I then brought in about 12 monarch caterpillars from my friend who lives in Cayucos, CA who did not have enough milkweed to support the caterpillars in her yard. Since August, 2020, I have observed the hatching of several generations of monarchs and continue to observe many caterpillars and butterflies in my yard.
