I am a programmer but I like exploring nature in my spare time. I joined the Texas Master Naturalist: Brazos Valley Chapter in fall of 2022.

I know lots about plants and bugs and not as much about other things. I have let my backyard grow wild and it makes me happy to explore the tiny life that now has a home.

I sometimes keep pet mantises. I love spiders and wasps though I don't keep them as pets.

I have 2 little boys and a wonderful husband that keep me interested in many new things. Sonboy1 likes to find roly-polies; they're his favorite. Sonboy2 is not old enough to explore yet, but we will get there. They keep me very busy, but I will do science when I am able.
