Nature is a big part of my life. I grew up loving nature and natural things. I wanted to be John Muir when I grew up. I currently work at Sonoma Land Trust as the Stewardship Director, helping to protect natural areas and trying to help maintain ecosystem functioning in these changing times. But nature is far more personal, and grow more so every day. I love sitting in my backyard looking at the valley oaks, listening to the birds, trying to id the grasses and plants that pop up. The wind through the trees, the stars at night (can still see stars in Ukiah), the moon over the eastern hills. Magical, grounding,essential.
