I am a mom, a grandmother, and a retired teacher of 35 years, living in the middle of 50 acres just north of Camp Bullis. I have been a dedicated Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalist since 2005, serving as president from 2010-2016. The use of the word Master in the title is a misnomer because I am in no way a master of the natural world. Everyday there is something new to learn about plants and the wildlife that depend on them. Maybe the name should be changed to Texas Forever Learners.
