I have lived in Banjup for over twenty-five years. Much of the area has native banksia woodland vegetation and fauna.

I am a member of BirdLife Australia and past member of the West Australian Wild Flower Society. I have been involved in several citizen science projects involving birds and long-necked turtles, and did volunteer work at a native animal rehabilitation centre for several years.
