I'm a marine biologist/botanist, originally from northern Portugal but currently living and working in the Algarve. I have a wide range of interests, and have worked with several different groups of organisms from copepods to flatworms. My research is currently focused on the evolution of the genus Ruppia, though I also study other seagrasses and euryhaline aquatic plants, and I still dabble in parasitology.
