Although I am interested in all life forms, during the last years I have focused in particular on the richness of bryophytes (Bryophyta and Marchantiophyta) and slime molds (Mycetozoa) that grow in the woodlands surrounding my village, most of which contribute to the species richness and overall biodiversity of the Parco Valle del Lanza (Lombardy, Italy)
