I'm an environmental/water resources engineer with a wide variety of interests, including observing the natural world and noting how it changes. I heard about the possibility of a new spider species invading Maryland and discovered first-hand that those predictions were true. The Joro spider has made it to Maryland and I'm interested in helping track it's spread. If there are other species of note that I discover in my area, I'm happy to help document that, too.
