I am a retired Entomologist. I was employed by the USDA Agriculture Research Service for 35 years working on projects aimed at biological control of invasive plants, such as the Australian tree Melaleuca quinquenervia in the Everglades as well as waterhyacinth and other macrophytes in aquatic systems. My main interest is insect/plant interaction ecology.
