Hello! I'm a teenager who loves looking around at stuff in nature.

I like Cottus, darters, weirdos that I find under logs, birds, and I am most familiar with animals of SWVA

I am a Virginia Master Naturalist (NRV chapter), and am a certified VA Save Our Streams stream water quality monitor.

My goal for 2026 is to either catch or snorkel with 40 new fish species, hopefully I reach that goal!
New fish of 2026: 70/40 sp!!!!! I wonder how many more I'll find?

I also want to find all the fish that (allegedly) live in the Little River in Floyd Va. And then, all the fish in the New River drainage!

Feel free to tag me in any observations of fish in Virginia (particularly western Virginia), I'm pretty ok at ID'ing them, and I'm trying to learn.
