Lepidopterist with experience studying butterflies and moths of North and South America. In practice I'm also a botanist and horticultualist. I'm currently based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.

Previously, I worked for several years at the USDA Invasive Plant Research Lab, until I was terminated by DOGE initiatives. Thank you to all my previous collaborators who enabled my research on Old-World Climbing Fern and its biological control agents.

I received my master's from the University of New Orleans with a project examining the false eyespots of Brassolini butterflies.
