I am a contemporary artist working on a project about the importance of biodiversity for a healthy planet. So I've started collecting data within a 5km radius from my home, photographing and identifying specimen to be included in my artworks. I envision the final pieces on the gallery wall accompanied by ID cards to make it informative for viewers and inspire others to go out and start their own citizen science projects.
