My husband and I have been birding for over 40 years, but I became fascinated by butterflies when I had more time during the pandemic in 2020-2022. I was one of the many volunteers tending to the Alamo Area Master Naturalist Wildscape Demonstration Garden in Phil Hardberger Park in San Antonio, Texas and noticed that we had many, many types of butterflies in the Garden. I made it my job to try to identify them, learn their larval hosts, and share information about them with Garden visitors.
In the event of my death, I would like iNaturalist to continue to use my observations.
