Bird tour guide and surveyor in the BC Cariboo, by way of Creston, the Fraser Valley, and western Washington. I'm currently trying to learn about the local lichens, but I'm still a novice for most genera. I do other things too.

A note on Letharia lichen identification: I've made some IDs of Letharia Lupina based on elevation as suggested in one older paper. It turns out (surprise!) it is not so straightforward. Identifying L. lupina/vulpina based on range and elevation is not reliable. I will be slowly correcting the many identifications I've made to change them to the genus level.
