I am a general Biology enthusiast with a slight focus on birds. Previously involved as a certified bander in monitoring the Little Owl (Athene noctua) in southern Germany, I enjoy observing and identifying all kinds of wildlife. While I am most familiar with European species north of the Alps, I recently moved to Toronto (Canada) and I am therefore currently focusing on the species of eastern North America.
