First off, I'm not as good as my qualifications suggest, and there's always more for me to learn, so I'm happy to be further educated. I like to test myself, and expand my skills, so I'm frequently working on the edge of my knowledge base.

I do have AS, BS, & MS degrees in forestry (Penn State) and a PhD in Horticulture (Virginia Tech) with Post-Doctoral work with invasive plants (Academy of Natural Sciences - Philadelphia). I've worked as a silviculturalist and planner for the state of Pennsylvainia, and currently work with the USFS.

I enjoy seeing what lives in different places.
