RPCV The Gambia '23 - '26 - Education Sector. During my 3rd-year project I partnered with the University of The Gambia to document local Lepidopteran biodiversity with an emphasis on detecting agricultural pests. I also worked with undergraduate research students and trained them to rear caterpillars, use light traps and citizen science, identify moth families, and I made efforts to increase access to educational material about local species. I have written Wikipedia articles about West African Lepidoptera, this also populates the "About" section of species profiles on iNat. These are my contributions to Wikipedia. I am a Lepidopterists' Society of Africa member, rearing caterpillars through the Caterpillar Rearing Group as part of my project.
