Local Ag, Drag, and Lab Cryptid 🪻
I studied for a BSc in Plant Science and a minor in Plant Biology at Purdue University, with research assisting in labs working from Agronomy, Botany, Horticulture, and Forestry.
Through these lab experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with tomato root endophytes, transgenic corn, USDA provided decomposing wild animals for fungus research, and with the endangered Koa tree in collaboration with the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
My specialties include pathology and genetics work on tropical plants and trees.
I am also a Veterinary Technician Assistant and an Animal Toxicology Technician with specialized experience with exotic and large animals.
To round out the Biology trilogy of Plants, Animals, and Humans, I am also a Laboratory Assistant in human pathology and cytology laboratories.
In my spare time I hike, forage, and identify plants, fungi, and more around me.
