Description

We have been seeing an occasional Long-billed Dowitcher in the area, but this is the first time I've noticed a pair of them. Just hanging out together. Because of the light grayish color overall, with just a bit of rusty highlighting, they are most likely juveniles. Those longish bills, besides being used for feeding, come in quite handy when you've got an itch.
