A mallee eucalypt with a very restricted distribution on Mt Imlay, resprouting at 10 months after high intensity fire. The lignotubers on these plants are huge compared with the stem size (uo to about 15cm diameter) , and suggest these 50 or so individuals have been present here for a very long time. Any seedlings in the photos are likely to be Eucalyptus sieberi. No definite E. imlayensis seedlings were seen, as it produces very little seed.
