Old 35mm scan of an old slide. This nine footer was on one end of a shallow pond (gator hole) and for a while he tolerated our presence. Finally, he had enough and launched himself into the air landing square in the middle of the pond and completely disappeared from view. The water calmed and we could not see him at all in the clear water of the pond, so we backed off and left the marsh to him.
