Tall, slender-stemmed plant with composite white flowers and no basal leaves. Upper leaves are lanceolate (and tend to be larger) while lower leaves are more obovate. Each flower has between 3 and 8 ray florets.

Growing in mulch on a ridge in a (mostly shaded) dense hardwood forest.
