Juvenile undergoing scavenging by Western Gull at surfline (see tracks in some images.) Eyes already removed but otherwise intact. Total length between 23-24 inches. ID based on a count of 30 mid lateral plates (only other local species has minimum of 38), plus barbels being closer to mouth than to tip of snout (diagnostic; White Sturgeon has barbels closer to snout.)
