22.5-inches. Caught with my typical gar rig using a 4/0 wide-gap hook. The bait (a 4-5-inch Bluegill) was placed about 3 feet from the shore in about 2 feet of water, where I had been seeing this Bowfin cruising. It was within 15 minutes of the bait being out that the Bowfin took off.
