Holomycotrophic. Plants 12-42 cm. Stem cylindric, 7-22, 1.2-1.5 cm in diameter, rooting from base. Leafless. Rachis stout, ribbed; subdensely flowered. Sepals 0.7-1.2 X 0.3-0.5 cm, slightly concave, apex blunt and recurved; dorsal ovate-lanceolate; lateral oblong-lanceolate. Petals rotund to broadly ovate-rotund, 0.7-1 X 0.5-0.7 cm, apex blunt. Lip oblong-ovate, longer than sepals, slightly concave, base winged - broad and erect; disc irregular, apex shallowly 3-lobed. Floral bracts linear-lanceolate, deflexed or horizontal, shorter than ovary.
