On autochthonous rock at bottom of Red Bluff cliffs.
Has been identified by Melbourne Museum.
Common at the site, but in scattered concentrations of various densities. Forms groups to 50 cm diameter.
The first image shows the Pyura among Mytilus planulatus. The third and fourth images show the Pyura with Meridiastra calcar.
I've known of the presence of the species at this site for several years.
