A maldanid polychaete that constructs a remarkable tube that has 6 to 12 stiff radial spokes at its distal end, each about 25 to 30 mm long. The worm drapes the spokes with a mucous web which collects food particles passively. The worm partially emerges from its tube to swallow the mucous.
