A single juvenile (sterile) plant growing in roadside gravel. This is the first time I have seen this species in the Waikato. In New Zealand it is abundantly naturalised in Northland but I have not yet seen it south of the Riverhead area.

Images poor - blowing a gale and raining heavily when taken (oh yes and I risked a fine for standing on the side of the State Highway One taking pictures of, and collecting plants, no matter how interesting. At least I have a herbarium specimen to back this record up).
