Was feeding on ground around the base of our bird feeder (about 50 feet from a lake) in early spring. Although there only occasionally are red wing black birds seen on this lake, it can happen in spring. Could this a juvenile red wing blackbird. If so, the very slight white wing bar seems unusual.
