Description

Growing on very old and rotten pine stumps at a new location. Caps to 14 cm across, creamy-tan and covered with darker coloured scales. Gills creamy-white, decurrent, and appear rather more crowded than usual in the largest fruit body (photo 2). Gill edges somewhat serrated. Stems very scaly.
