Color IS accurate. Weird stuff. I quick glance at the Tremellales section of MD revealed no clear candidates, which is exciting. Thoughts, anyone? This clump was about 3-4 cm across. Found growing on a fallen tree (most likely hardwood but can't say for sure) by Jewel Lake, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley, CA.
