What

European Hart's-tongue Fern (Asplenium scolopendrium ssp. scolopendrium)

Date

August 22, 2014 06:17 PM CEST

Description

One hart's tongue fern growing at lime-rock with scarcely soil and constant wet conditions in a shady place, showing furcated leaf-tips - possibly caused by environmental conditions?
The other individula imaged for the small snail with conical "house", but too small on photo, but you can see the elongated "double" sori, meaning sporangia arising in places at two adjacent parallel veins.
