Description
This specimen was found growing along the Homestead Trail in McKinney Falls State Park. It is found in large quantities around the park's mid-level elm forests. It's flower is very unique, with fuzzy sepals and smaller, drooping petals. The plant's stem is approximately 2 feet tall and is covered in large simple leaves. The leaves were soft to the touch and had netted venation.
