The is the largest dragonfly I have seen. He was stranded in our garage on the ceiling, so I took a broom and put it next to him and eventually he moved over to it, I was able to take him out to my pond. I love the colors, these are not what my other dragonflies look like - he was one of a kind.
There is also a Regal Darner with the same colors, more green than brown - this could be either.
