My first Albacore caught from a day-long albacore party boat beyond the Farallon Islands west of San Francisco, and sponsered by a vendor that my employer used a lot. It was anything but a party, as the ocean was pretty rough, and anybody not used to having "sea legs" was very sick; I was OK as long as nobody puked upwind of me. Hal (a friend) and I kept fishing all day for everyone else and had a great time. The baseball hat is from the 1989 Bay Bridge / Earthquake World Series.
