Slangbos

An old field, fruit orchard on the Cedarberg Shale Band, but covered on the lower reaches with sand, abandoned. All except the top edge, a few wet areas and the odd plant, have been colonized by Slangbos which accounts for 99% of the plant cover, although there are many species in here, some only 1 or two plants. The upper edge next to the natural veld is far more diverse.
