Wild Bindweed

Wild Bindweed (Convolvulus sagittatus) Reservoir Hill, Ladysmith.

Flat Convolvulus with narrow arrow shaped leaves. Not clearly seen in photos except at high blow up. Much narrower than in say Gill and Engelbrecht (p244) but leaves said to be variable.In burnt and stony ground and stems woody.

No subspecies recognized in the Red List at this stage.
