Description

Carpha schlechteri

only in localised seepages, usually at base of cliffs, to 40cm, locally common where it occurs, but very widely scattered subpopulations. Only known from the Schlechter Type collected in 1897,and a single Levyns collection in 1946- but seems to match the type in terms of habitat, morphology and distribution.
