This has been going around for years in eflora groups and efloraindia for a proper identification. Finally got the ID from efloraIndia thanks to Dr Hussain Barbuiya who helped ID the tree. Thanks to J.M Garg for pursuing it.

This tree has timber value and maybe thats why this rare tree (i presume rare in india) is found in the timber depot.
