Description

Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus (East)

Habitat: Foeniculum vulgare. Visiting flowers at about 1215 hrs. Sunny/overcast day.

Identification: Simosyrphus grandicornis (Macquart, 1842). Female.
