Uncommon shrub to small tree within ultramafic belt of North Cape Peninsula. Leaves reddish-green, oblanceolate serrated to semi-entire, pellucid gland-spotting conspicuous, leaf buds basally brown to green-brown, viscid,; branchlets harshly tuberculate. Flowers and fruit not seen. Myoporum laetum from the serpentinite zone retains a small stature in cultivation with the leaves distinctly tinged reddish.
